1. Information We Collect
When you use GeoQC, we collect information you provide directly:
- Account information (name, email, company name)
- Project data you create within the application (panel logs, seam records, test results, drawings, photos)
- Billing information processed by our payment provider (Paddle)
- Support communications
We also collect technical information automatically:
- Device type and operating system
- App version and usage patterns
- Crash reports and performance data
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the GeoQC service
- Sync your project data between devices via cloud storage
- Process billing and manage your subscription
- Send service-related communications (updates, security notices)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve performance
3. Data Storage and Security
Your project data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud infrastructure hosted on Supabase (backed by AWS). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Offline data: When using GeoQC offline, all data is stored exclusively on your local device until you connect to the internet and sync occurs.
4. Data Ownership
You own your project data. We do not sell, share, or use your QC documentation data for any purpose other than providing the GeoQC service to you. You can export all your data at any time in standard formats (PDF, CSV, PNG).
5. Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Database and file storage infrastructure
- Paddle: Payment processing (we never store your full credit card number)
- Cloudflare: Website hosting and content delivery
6. Data Retention
We retain your project data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is preserved for 90 days to allow for reactivation or export. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted from our servers.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and export all your data at any time
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
